Texas poultry farmers are committed to preserving the land, air and water on and around their farms. Over the last 50 years, advancements in many aspects of egg and poultry production have led to a reduced environmental footprint.

Texas farmers follow best management practices and are continuously looking for ways to improve the sustainability of their operations. These practices include working with local soil and water conservation offices, evolving housing to reduce energy use, looking for opportunities to better manage manure, and recycling and composting when possible.
